The Prints + Frames
Every order undergoes printing and meticulous quality checks personally overseen by the artist in Barcelona, Spain. Each piece is hand-signed and numbered. Our global shipping options cover both framed and unframed prints. Utilizing local printing services, we collaborate with experts in digital printing on Fine Art papers.
Giclée is the name given to a limited edition inkjet reproduction of an original, photograph, or digitally created work. It is printed on high-quality, acid-free coated paper with pigmented inks that are light-stable and have a longevity of over 75 years.
We primarily work with Hahnemühle, the oldest artist paper mill in Germany, producing paper for the arts for over 420 years. They create natural papers, 100% cotton or fiber, and acid-free, ensuring permanence and providing an unparalleled finish.
We combine the precision of digital printing with the beauty and texture of traditionally manufactured Fine Art papers.
Tips
We have chosen to provide a high-quality frame without glass. Typically, when individuals exhibit paintings or other artworks, glass is rarely used as a front cover.
When displaying artwork without glass, it’s essential to consider factors that can impact its preservation and visual appeal. Here are some general guidelines for hanging artwork without glass:
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Sunlight can cause fading and damage to artwork over time. Hang your artwork in a location where it won’t be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods.
Control Humidity: High humidity levels can lead to mold and other forms of damage. Choose a space with controlled humidity levels to protect your artwork.
Mind Temperature Changes: Extreme temperature fluctuations can affect the materials used in artwork. Avoid hanging pieces in areas with frequent temperature changes, such as close to heaters or air conditioning vents.
Interior Walls: Hang your artwork on interior walls rather than exterior walls. Exterior walls are more susceptible to temperature and humidity variations.
Consider Lighting: Adequate lighting is crucial for showcasing artwork. Use well-placed, indirect lighting to highlight your pieces without causing damage.
Use Appropriate Hanging Hardware: Ensure your artwork is securely and appropriately hung using the right hardware. This helps prevent accidents and damage to both the artwork and the wall.
Keep Away from Cooking Areas: Kitchens can have higher levels of humidity and airborne grease, which may damage artwork. Avoid hanging pieces near cooking areas.
Protect from Physical Contact: Hang your artwork in locations where it’s less likely to be touched or bumped. This helps prevent accidental damage.
Remember, these are general guidelines, and the specific conditions of your home or work space may influence where you choose to hang your artwork. Always assess the individual characteristics of each piece and the environment in which it will be displayed
